Today was the first weekday I've had off of work since June. To make up for it, I have to work a horrid double shift on Friday. I went out to dinner, saw The Artist in a beautiful independent theatre I didn't know existed, sat in my pajamas with Matt and watched the Trigun film, and stumbled upon an amazing art gallery.
I need more days off. I work 7 days a week, every week. Even if I don't get into JET, I may quit anyway. I love what I do most of the time, but I don't want to make this job my life, and that's just what this job is forcing me to do.
In any case, I'm still alive, still waiting to see if I made it to the interview stage of the JET application, and I started my last 16 weeks at my cursed university last week.
